The next Upholstery Camp has been announced! I’m so excited to host you March 27th – 31st for my Spring Break Upholstery Camp. This all inclusive retreat is the perfect intensive weekend for learning upholstery fundamentals and furniture restoration techniques on your own project, but you will also learn the unique methods everyone else is using to complete their projects too! Every camp I am filled with inspiration and ingenuity from all of the attendees and the unique experiences they bring to the table. It’s also a great way to connect with your peers in this industry, or apply the skills you learn to your personal projects at home so that you can also have nice things!
What’s Included?
5 Days and 4 Nights at The Newton of Ypsilanti
5 Day, 4 Night stay at The Newton of Ypsilanti, an historical mansion converted into an incredible BnB in the heart of Downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
ALL Meals Included!
Chef Allison will prepare some delicious meals, and we will also enjoy some of my favorite local fare. All of your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included starting with Thursday evenings meal.
3 FULL 9 Hour Days of Upholstery Workshops
I’ll walk you through your project, step-by-step as you work towards completing it over the course of a weekend. Small chairs are most likely to be completed, but you can use this time to pick up on skills you really want to get good at too.

Bring your projects (stripped if you can!), and I will provide all new foam, batting, and infrastructure supplies like jute webbing and barrier fabric. *You’ll just need to bring your choice of fabric, or pick out your own on our first day field trip to Discount Fabric Outlet!
