INVESTMENT IS NECESSARY
Have you been quoting Upholstery services only to find the prices are sky high? This is because the demand for upholstery is higher than the skilled tradespeople and resources needed to sustain it. Upholstery shops all over the US are lookin for help, but there are not enough formal pathways to training and education, and it’s too expensive to train skills while in production. Everyone from every angle suffers for this. If we want to keep the trade alive, we need to make it more accessible. What we need is sincere community investment.
I have been teaching Upholstery to the DIY Crowd for more than 6 years. Recently I moved to the Ann Arbor Area and began teaching Upholstery Workshops 3 days a week. Since October 15 I have taught more than 200 people in my classes. The best part is, 39% of them are sticking around to learn more and finish projects. Some of them are even taking clients! The quality of work coming from this crowd is incredible. This is because they have hands on experience every step of the way.

Students and I will submit a proposal to you for consideration, and if you are comfortable with the price, We will send over an official agreement and get to work!
STUDENTS START WORK
Students will work on your project in class with my hands-on guidance, ensuring the best possible restoration for your project. Sponsors will receive progress updates along the way.
NO FAMILY HEIRLOOMS
